BCS student in Network Technology & Cybersecurity, building real skills the practical way: lab topologies, hardened servers, and a lot of curiosity. I want to keep networks running and keep attackers out.

The short version

I'm studying networks and security at Texas College of Management & IT in Kathmandu — and learning most of it with my hands on a keyboard.

My degree is a Bachelor of Computer Science with a specialisation in Network Technology & Cybersecurity. Coursework gives me the theory: TCP/IP, routing, OSPF, MPLS, server administration, security law. My own lab gives me the practice.

On a normal evening I'm building topologies in Packet Tracer, breaking and then hardening a Windows Server VM, or working through a vulnerability assessment on a machine I set up to be broken. I like the moment a problem stops being abstract.

Right now I'm looking for an internship in networking or cybersecurity — somewhere I can be useful, ask good questions, and learn from people who do this every day.

Networks first

Routing, switching, VLANs and subnetting are where I'm most confident — and where I keep going deeper.

Both sides of the fence

Ethical hacking and VAPT to find the gaps; blue team and system hardening to close them.

I build my own labs

VMware and VirtualBox, Kali and Windows Server, then Git to keep track of what I tried.

Still learning, on purpose

Enterprise networking, cloud security and SOC operations are on my list for this year.

What I can already work with

Grouped the way I actually use them — the network underneath, the security on top, the code that automates it and the systems it all runs on.
